About this tour

Sky Lagoon opened in 2021 as Reykjavík's answer to the Blue Lagoon: closer to the city, ocean-facing, and built around a guided 7-step Sea Ritual. Evenings are the quietest time and the best for Northern Lights between September and April. Transfer is included both ways so you can soak without driving.

  2. Drive to Kársnes peninsula

    15 min

    South across the city to the Sky Lagoon site — a former harbour reshaped into a 75-metre cliff-edge infinity pool.

  3. Lagoon and Sea Ritual

    2 hr 30 min

    Enter the geothermal pool, then complete the 7-step ritual: cold plunge, sauna, cold mist, skýr scrub, steam, shower, return to the lagoon. Repeat as desired.

  4. Return to Reykjavík

    20 min

    Drop-off at the same Reykjavík pickup point. Transfer departs the lagoon at a fixed time — confirmed in your booking email.
