Cruise Port
Seyðisfjörður
East Iceland
A picture-postcard fjord village in East Iceland, framed by waterfalls and the iconic blue church (Bláa kirkjan). The cruise pier opens directly onto the village; East Iceland's reindeer country, Hengifoss, and stave church sit a short drive away.
Excursions from Seyðisfjörður
Built around your ship's schedule — every itinerary respects all-aboard time.

Puffins, Reindeer & Eastfjords
A 6-hour shore excursion from Seyðisfjörður Cruise Port — wild reindeer roaming the East Iceland valleys, puffin colonies along the cliffs, and the Eastfjords coastline. Return guaranteed at least an hour before sailing.
Returns to the Seyðisfjörður cruise pier 2 hours before all-aboard. Wild reindeer sightings are likely but not guaranteed.
Seyðisfjörður Heritage Walk — Bláa kirkjan
A 2-hour walking tour of one of Iceland's prettiest fjord villages. The blue-painted Bláa kirkjan, the rainbow path, the Tvisöngur sound sculpture, and 19th-century Norwegian timber houses.
Walking tour ends at the cruise pier. Designed to finish 90 minutes before all-aboard. All-weather route with indoor stops.
Hengifoss Waterfall Trek
A 5-hour cruise excursion to Hengifoss — Iceland's third-tallest waterfall, falling 128m past striking red bands of fossilised soil. A scenic drive plus a moderate 2.5-hour round-trip hike.
Returns to the Seyðisfjörður cruise pier 90 minutes before all-aboard. Hike pace is set conservatively; if weather requires turnaround, you'll still see Litðlanesfoss en route.
